In this modern retelling of the classic fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel fall asleep on their way home from playing in the village. In their dream, they encounter a sweet old lady who turns out to be a wicked witch! The witch tries to turn Hansel into a cookie, and Gretel comes to his rescue. In this fun and interactive family show, children will enjoy crafts, snacks and opportunity to dance with the performers.

Carmina Burana is based on a set of over 1000 songs written by the Goliards, a group of poet-musicians who wanted to celebrate the joys of the tavern, nature, love, and lust. Carl Orff gathered 24 of these songs and set them to music in a “scenic cantata” that is nearly impossible to categorize. We will feature pieces from each of the three main sections of the work: Spring, In the Tavern, and Love.
